General
Enter from home with this purely online, cross platform tournament!
Rules are subject to change at any time. All players must read and understand the rules before competing. In the event of any disputes, any District Beta staff will have final say.
Any spam or disrespectful messages towards District Beta staff or other tournament participants may result in ban or ejection from the tournament.
This is a maximum kill game tournament, whichever team has the highest kill game over the 24 hour window wins.
Date and Time
October 29, 2020.
Start at 12:01am and end at 11:59pm EST
Any games started before or after will not be counted.
Team
You must own your Activision account used in the tournament. If you are caught sharing your account with another player, you will be ejected from the tournament and banned from future competitions.
Teams may be up to 3 players. Teams can participate as solo, duo, or trio, but they MUST play in the BR Zombie Royale Game mode.
If you aren’t playing with a full team, you must have Squad Fill: Don’t Fill
All team captains must have complete and accurate Activision Accounts listed with registration.
All players must play on their main account, any players caught using new accounts/smurfing will be ejected from the tournament.
If your team changes between registration and the tournament start time you must alert District Beta staff to update your roster.
Players are only permitted to have one team per tournament. If you are caught evading this rule, all your teams will be ejected.
All games must be played on US East servers
Gamemode
Must play in BR Zombie Royale.
No other game modes will be allowed.
ALL TEAMS MUST HAVE CROSS PLAY ENABLED
If a team is caught playing without cross play enabled their scores will not count.
At any time during the tournament a District Beta staff may come into your stream and request you prove cross play is enabled. If you refuse to prove it, you may be ejected from the tournament.
Points
Points will be distributed as following:
1 point per kill
Tie Breaker
If there is a tie, then it will be whichever team had more damage.
If the above rule does not resolve the tie, it will be whichever team submitted first.
Streaming
One (1) player from each team is required to livestream their point of view, this will be used to verify score submissions.
Players can use the built in broadcasting software on PS4 and Xbox One, or a screen share screen on PC. Streams are not required to have webcam, commentary, or overlays, only requirement is that your gameplay and score is visible.
Players must stream on Twitch.tv
Players must give an accurate URL to their teams live stream with registration, if the URL changes between time of registration and start time of the tournament you must let District Beta staff know.
Score Submission
In order for your score to be counted, your team captain is required to submit a Twitch Clip of the match you would like to submit as well a time stamp of the end of the game on live stream.
All scores must be submitted to the #warzone-score-submission channel in our Discord.
All scores must be submitted before 11:59pm EST on October 29, 2020.
Teams can submit as many scores as they like, only the highest score will be counted towards the tournament.
Teams aren’t required to submit every game, only the high scores they would like to submit.
At the end of the tournament the winners will be announced after the highest score for each platform is verified by our referees.
Cheating
Cheating or deliberately breaking rules in any way is prohibited, if caught cheating you will be ejected from the tournament and banned from future tournaments.
Any exploits of glitches are prohibited.
If you believe an opponent is cheating, you must provide proof with your claim. The accused cheating is innocent until proven guilty. If you submit a false report, you may be ejected or banned from future tournaments.
